FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Short answers for founders evaluating Debriefing.
What signals do you actually track?
We track 6 categories: Product & Pricing, AI & Automation, Hiring & Team, Funding & M&A, Content & Distribution, and Market & Regulation. For each competitor, we monitor their pricing pages, changelogs, careers pages, homepage, and integrations pages directly, plus broader web sources.
How is this different from Klue, Crayon, or Google Alerts?
Klue and Crayon are enterprise tools built for larger teams. Debriefing delivers 6-signal intelligence at lower cost, in a short digest built for fast strategic reads. Google Alerts only catches published news.
What data sources do you use?
We directly monitor competitor websites, pricing, homepage, changelog, careers, integrations, LinkedIn, public web evidence, reviews, funding sources, product communities, and other market surfaces as available.
Is this worth it for a company my size?
If competitor moves affect your roadmap, pricing, or positioning, this is built to save research time and surface evidence faster.
How quickly do I get my first debrief?
Within minutes of signing up. We build your competitor watchlist, run an initial scan across all 6 signal categories, and deliver a comprehensive first debrief.
What if there's nothing new to report?
If a category has no new activity, we say so in one line. The absence of signal can itself be useful, and quiet cycles still add to longitudinal trend context.
